「포셋」엽서 도서관, 연희 · 전포 · 성수 공간 기록, 2022 - 2026

엽서 도서관 ‘포셋’의 연희, 전포, 성수 공간을 사진으로 기록했습니다. 사진을 담으면서 낮에는 잔잔한 볕이 들고, 밤에는 따뜻한 불빛이 밝혀주는 공간이라고 생각했습니다. 자꾸만 보고 싶고, 그리운 사람들의 얼굴이 떠오르는 경험을 하게 해준 고마운 장소입니다. 3,200여 개의 엽서와 홀로 앉아 편지를 적으며 시간을 보낼 수 있는 1인용 책상이 창가 쪽에 준비되어 있습니다.

"엽서 도서관 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗹𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 이라는 주제를 시작으로 도서관에 가득한 책들이 엽서로 바뀌는 상상을 해봤습니다. 도서관에서의 행위들을 상상하면 책을 고르고, 읽고, 필사하는 모습들이 떠오릅니다. 포셋은 서로에게 주고받는 메시지, 나를 위한 소중한 기록들, 누군가를 생각하며 써 내려가는 순간을 경험할 수 있는 공간으로 채워나가고자 합니다. 

「Poset」Postcard Library, Yeonhui · Jeonpo · Seongsu, Space Documentation, 2022 - 2026

I photographed the Yeonhui, Jeonpo, and Seongsu spaces of Poset, a postcard library. While photographing the spaces, I thought of them as places filled with calm sunlight during the day and warm light at night. It is a place I am grateful for, one that makes me want to keep looking and brings to mind the faces of people I miss. The library holds over 3,200 postcards, with individual desks by the window where visitors can sit alone, write letters, and spend time quietly. "Starting from the idea of a

“postcard library,” we imagined a library where the books filling the shelves are replaced by postcards. When we think of the acts associated with a library, choosing, reading, and transcribing come to mind. Poset is a space shaped by messages exchanged with one another, precious records for oneself, and moments spent writing while thinking of someone else."
